This Trust Manthri Satyanarayana Charitable Trust came into legal existence in the year of 2016 after getting its registration under the Trust Act. of 1882. It has registered with various aim and objects of education, environment, plantation, welfare of the society and so many other objects. Humanity is now at the cross road to find solution for the poverty, illiteracy specially before the downtrodden family but we hope that it can be solved by the continuous efforts of government and NGOs like us. Manthri Satyanarayana, the founder of trust and a famous social- worker of the State Jharkhand. He is a powerful good statesman, a great thinker, communicator and a good organizer. Profile & Origin

Manthri Satyanarayana Charitable Trust is an independent registered non-government and non-profit working in Andhra &Telangana. Manthri Satyanarayana Charitable Trust prime motto is capacity building and services delivery to the deprived and marginalized people of the society.

Considering their association with the development sector the group was cognizant of the plethora of problems plaguing the province. Consequently, the organization’s focus was not kept limited either in in terms of geography or sector. Whilst operating in different districts of the province, Manthri Satyanarayana Charitable Trust has been carrying a range of interventions in the areas of education, health & hygiene, youth & women empowerment, emergency response & preparedness, governance, free legal aid, human rights, etc.

The type of activities undertaken by the organization range from capacity building to service delivery, with focus remaining on the deprived and marginalized segments of the society. Whereas in terms of operations what characterizes Providus Charitable Trust’s functioning are its efforts to (a) enlist involvement of the locals when initiating activities at the grass root level; and (b) mobilize women for bringing peace, tolerance, and development in society. Although a somewhat new entry in the development arena, Manthri Satyanarayana Charitable Trust – owing to the linkages of its members with national & international funding agencies – enjoys a diverse portfolio, characterized by partnership with organizations.

Inception

In 2016 a group of educated, dynamic and like-minded youth working in the development sector, got together to establish an organization, for addressing the most urgent and pressing needs of the people of Baluchistan. True to this spirit the organization was named Manthri Satyanarayana Charitable Trust

Strategy

A sustainable strategy is devised to achieve the maximum, a need based and right based approach initiated ascertains the problem with fully community

involvement and mobilizing all indigenous and local resources. The program goal is materialized with a helping hand from members donor agencies, Philanthropists

Good Governance

Governance is the need of the hour in the development sector in order to ensure and promote application of best management practices, compliance of law and adherence to best possible ethical standards. The entire management processes and practices of MSN are in compliance with the principles of Good Governance’.

I. Making Policies & Decisions

MSN, from the inception itself, works on a delegated work environment. Each and every person in the organization is involved in the process of decision making in a scientifically designed system. Making Policy & Decision in the Trust are done through a four-tier system.

a. Departments & Divisions

Monthly review meetings are held for each division and department regularly.

b. Executive Committee

The Executive committee manages the Trust’s operation directly and it reports to the Board of Advisors. Members of this committee are professionals working with MSN Trust and it is mandatory to include a member from the Board of Advisors. The Executive Committee of MSN Trust holds a meeting each Quarter (every three months) and looks after day-to-day management.

c. Advisory body

The board of advisors comprises of technically competent people from diverse backgrounds and expertise. The body is formed for a period of one year and a few independent members with eminence and reputation are nominated each year. Members of this board also meet once every Quarter. The Board of Advisors advises the Trustees of MSN Trust, taking regular inputs from the Executive Committee.

d. Board of Trustees

The board of trustees sets the vision and broad guidelines for the Foundation and ensures good governance in liaison with the Board of Advisors; although, the Board of Trustees is not involved in the day-to-day operation of Smile Foundation.

II. Credibility Norms

MSN Trust encourages its partners to follow Credibility norms for ensuring good governance in the development sector. MSN Trust also follows norms of good governance itself. The Foundation strives to build capabilities of its grassroots NGO partners towards good governance. The Governance & Credibility System includes a systematic set of norms, which is administered and monitored by a qualified Chartered Account.

III. Project Management & Monitoring system

The project management & monitoring system in MSN Trust comprises of a systematic and well laid down processes. These are as follow –

a) Desk Appraisal

Prospective proposals are put through the desk appraisal process at respective programme divisions.

b) Monitoring

Once a partner is selected under a particular programme, an MoU is signed, guidelines and initial trainings are imparted and the particular project is started. The project is put under a systematic and periodic monitoring system. The processes include the following steps:

c) Project Auditing; ii. Activity Report Analysis; iii. Field Evaluation

The process of project monitoring is followed by impact analysis, which is a done internally; and external evaluation, done by an external and professional agency.b bbb vbb
